Soundproofing Foam

Soundproofing Foams & Acoustic Foam Materials

Welcome to All Noise Control’s sound absorption acoustic foam, We are manufacturers of various acoustical sound barrier products used for sound control, noise control for use in Commercial Acoustic Applications, Home Theater Acoustics, Audio rooms, OEM projects, office and factory environment, Churches and several other applications where Noise Control is needed.

Acoustical Foam – Wedges

Acoustic Wedges Material. The most popular industrial noise source absorber! Acoustic Material for residential acoustics or commerical acoustic applicationsIt is the most popular industrial noise source absorber ! The featured contour profile helps trap industrial sound sources in their wake! The open cell structure and surface space of the foam helps to maximize your echo drop This foam dissipates up to 80% of unwanted sound. Available in 2″ 3″ and 4″

Installation Instructions:  The standard installation technique includes adhering these panels directly to any smooth wall service with a calking gun and any silicone adhesive. One tube of glue for every four sheets or one tube for every 32 sq. ft. Also, adhering the foam to ply wood first, and then bolting the ply wood to the wall provides mobility of the material.

Also mounting the foam on ply wood design to “free-stand” near a noise source can give you a portable noise control screen that can be moved out of the way.

Pyramid Soundproofing Foam

Pyramid soundproofing foam is a long-lasting, high-performance solution to your sound-deadening needs at an affordable price. Pyramid foam’s unique design offers slightly different performance characteristics than other cuts, with its greater surface area. The four sides, rather than the two of the wedge, provide extra diffusion but slightly less absorption for different usage styles and needs.

These 2’x2′ square, open cell polyurethane acoustic foam panels have symmetrically identical beveled faces that disguise their seams from piece to piece. Available in standard 2, 3 and 4 inch thicknesses and 6 different colors,   they yield one uniform look to a treated wall space, and boast excellent acoustic results. Ideal for any audio application where acoustics and aesthetics are both a must!

Pyramid Soundproofing Foam

Installation Instructions:  Most customers glue these panels to a wall using silicone based caulk. For portability, you could opt to put them up with velcro strips or double stick tape. Cut the foam from the back side with a carpet cutter or utility knife. The most common way to install the panels are with a caulking gun and tubes of silicone adhesive. One tube for every 8 panels, or every 32 square feet. Other possible installation techniques may include double stick tape or velcro. Also, gluing the panels to plywood first and then bolting the panels to the wall is very popular. This allows you to eventually move the material. In addition, putting firring strips up on the wall first, and then bolting the plywood to the firring strips will create dead air space behind the foam. This will help enhance the acoustic affects of the application.

V-Block ( Melamine) Soundproofing Foam

V-Block Foams / V-Block Melamine Acoustic Foam Material ideal for low bass, anechoic or impact sound test locations where high heat and temperature levels are found

These 1’ X 1’ cubes are V cut from our MELAMINE foam with 3-V tapered pattern are ideal for low bass, anechoic or impact sound test locations where high heat and temperature levels are found.

Installation Instructions:  Most customers glue these panels to a wall using silicone based caulk. For portability, you could opt to put them up with velcro strips or double stick tape. Cut the foam from the back side with a carpet cutter or utility knife.

The standard installation consists of adhering the V-Blocks directly to a wall surface with standard silicone adhesive. To maximize the effects of the foam, customers have mounted the Sound Blocks to plywood, and attached the plywood to firring strips linings the chamber walls. This creates a dead air space behind the foam. For treating transmission (keeping outside noise out, and inside noise in) see our Noise Control Vinyl Sound Barrier material. This could be adhered to the chamber walls prior to installing the foam.

Soundproofing Foam: V-Block

Acoustic V-BlockThese 12″x12″ square polyurethane foam panels are ideal for extreme noise sources, low bass noise, impact noise, or for anechoic sound chambers. Available in standard thickness, with custom thicknesses optional. Their extreme thickness forces the noise wave to travel several more times through the material before it can escape. This creates maximum dissipation.

Open cell polyurethane acoustic foam blocks, measuring 12″ x 12″ square with standard widths of 6″ or 8″. Anechoic wedge shape design is ideal for attacking extreme low and high frequency sound. Ideal product for anechoic chamber applications. The ultimate in energy absorption with 100% echo reduction

Installation Instructions:  Most customers glue these panels to a wall using silicone based caulk. For portability, you could opt to put them up with velcro strips or double stick tape. Cut the foam from the back side with a carpet cutter or utility knife.
